The Story of the Universe
Lynette Cook is one of the world's best known illustrators of extrasolar planets, with her artwork appearing in books, magazines, television documentaries, and exhibits at such institutions as the Smithsonian, NASA Ames Research Center, and Lick Observatory. Her most recent book, Infinite Worlds: An Illustrated Voyage to Planets Beyond Our Sun, is co-authored with Ray Villard and includes nearly 70 of Lynette's stunning depictions of life and planets in the universe. Upcoming is a series of unique images created for Dava Sobel's The Planets that will be featured in the paperback version of this book, available November 2006.
