Glow
Katherine Olson fell into photography while in college at the University of Wisconsin. She started out taking photos to become the basis for illustrations, before she realized that she actually liked the photos far more than the resulting drawings or paintings. She particularly enjoyed playing with shadows and extreme low-light set-ups, which yield wonderfully abstract images. However, she still enjoys telling stories with her art and has a wonderful group of friends who are willing to dress up and model for her. Over the years she has drowned Ophelia, followed a werewolf through the woods, and conversed with a grumpy bridge-troll.
