Summer 2012 Submissions

This July is all about science fiction. The contributions of women as writers and editors to science fiction, the history of the genre, new heroines in the genre, the craft of the genre, commentary on movie adaptations of science fiction and reviews of new book releases in the genre are all at home in this issue, where the history of the genre provides a foundation for new futures and imagined tomorrows.

Check out our Writer's Guidelines for information on queries and rates, and keep deadlines in mind. We will not read queries submitted outside our submissions period. Our submissions period for summer is April 10th-June 4th, 2012.

Call for Submissions: Broadsheet Spring Issue

This March issue is all about the fantastic.

From the magic of ancient civilizations to ever-popular urban fantasy and far-flung magical futures, fantasy has been there to spark our imaginations. If you have an opinion on cross-genres fantasy, a review of the latest fantasy novel to grip you, a tribute to a now passed female figure who worked as a writer or editor in the genre, we want to see them, as well as anything you think would make a great addition to our spring exploration of one of the most beloved genres.
