A recommended service for finding markets is Cynthia Ward's Market Maven (not affiliated with Broad Universe). By signing up for the Market Maven newsletter you'll receive updates by email on all the higher-paying markets. What you get are recent changes in guidelines for the bigger magazines as well as calls from publishers and editors on anthologies and book projects. She alerts you to all new serious markets. At $20/year, the service is relatively inexpensive. One sale justifies the expense. It also saves time since you don't have to cull out low and non-paying markets from the many listings out there. Since it comes to your email it also serves as a reminder to get your stuff out there. For information on signing up: http://www.speculations.com/

The Gila Queen (not affiliated with Broad Universe) puts out a print guide to the markets. You can find information on ordering a subscription ($20) from the Gilaqueen website
